Dr. Sinha grew-up in New Jersey where most of his extended family practices medicine. In podiatric medical school he performed research and is published in the area of computers and medical student education. He received honors for creating a computer program to teach foot and ankle biomechanics to podiatric medical students.
During podiatric medical school, Dr. Sinha rotated through major teaching hospitals on the East Coast and the Midwest. He was privileged to complete his surgical residency in Houston, Texas where he trained under many physicians and surgeons including internal medicine, radiology, interventional radiology, pathology, anesthesia, emergency medicine, podiatric surgery, podiatric biomechanics, pediatric orthopedics, general orthopedics, general surgery, and plastic surgery.
Dr. Sinha has performed and assisted on many foot as well as non-foot and ankle procedures during his residency including knee arthroscopy, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, carpal tunnel release, hand surgery, arthroscopic gall bladder and appendix, abdominoplasty, liposuction, breast augmentation, and facial plastic surgery.
He brings this knowledge and experience in these areas to offer his patients the most favorable outcomes in foot and ankle surgery - surgical and non-surgical. He is active in academics and is an Attending Physician at Truman Medical Center in Lee's Summit, Missouri where he teaches Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residents. Additionally, he lectures for various groups on wide-ranging topics from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Dr. Sinha takes pride in spending an above average amount of time with his patients to ensure that they understand their diagnosis, x-rays, lab results and are involved in their comprehensive treatment plan which is tailored to each individual patient.
Dr. Sinha is active in outdoor sports and recreation. His practice interests include sports medicine, primary care, trauma, and diabetic limb salvage.
